When you pointed
at your auto fleet
and the figures
written against your name
I knew what you were doing
You flaunted your huge biceps
and well-outlined six-pack;
displayed your trophies
and recounted sweet tales
of your lofty exploits
But I knew what you were doing
Only you never saw
that I was looking for more
for eyes
that see the poor
hands,
that touch others
ears, that listen
feet,
that refrains from evil
and a heart
given to Yahweh
Because all that,
is what moves me.
